**ATTENTION HOLIDAY LAKES HOMEOWNERS**

Holiday Lakes Grinder Pump Field Work Update

Jones & Henry Engineers, Ltd. (J&H) will no longer be accepting appointments with homeowners to field locate the planned location for the grinder pump.

J&H crews will now be going door-to-door, If someone answers the door we will meet with them to review the details of the grinder pump station installation; however, if no one answers the door, we will proceed to locate the existing septic tank, observe the anticipated location of the grinder pump and gather information on the electrical service.

Homeowners who were not able to meet with a J&H field crew will still have an opportunity later to provide feedback on the location of the grinder pump and force main lateral. Easement documents will be prepared later for review and filing. The easement documents will show the grinder pump, force main lateral and electrical service as planned by J&H. Homeowners can review and comment at that time.

Jones & Henry Engineers will be visiting homes to reach those who haven't scheduled an appointment for their grinder pump location. Their team will be easily identifiable by their J&H-branded apparel and reflective yellow vests. They will be in the area until September 14th.

Attention Holiday Lakes Homeowners:

The engineers from Jones & Henry are available at the Lodge every Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. To schedule your grinder pump appointment, please visit us or call 419-473-9611.

If you can’t attend the appointment in person, a neighbor or friend can be there on your behalf. The engineers just need to be able to reach the homeowner by phone or FaceTime.

There’s a lot happening at the lake this weekend as we celebrate the unofficial end of summer!

Kick off your Saturday with an all-you-can-eat breakfast at the Lodge from 8-11am, followed by lunch from Red Beard Seasoning, available from 11:30am to 2:30pm. On Sunday, the Brass opens at 11 AM, perfect for enjoying food and drinks while you relax on the beach. In the afternoon from 3-6pm, join us for our 3rd annual Duck Race, featuring three fantastic food trucks: Marketside Grill, La Catrina y El Catrin, and Red Beard Seasoning. There will also be music, games along with a bounce house and inflatable water slide for kids of all ages!

If you're new to the Duck Race, here are some FAQs about the event:

Where does the Duck Race take place?

The finish line is set up in the green area across from the Maintenance Building at 1005 Overlook Dr. If you don’t have a golf cart, you can drive and park in the Maintenance Building parking lot. Feel free to walk up the golf cart trail to watch the ducks get set free and then follow them down the creek to the finish line.

Do we need to pick up the ducks we bought?
No, you don’t need to pick up the ducks. After you place your order, each duck will be assigned a number linked to your name. The Holiday Lakes Social Committee will handle getting your duck to the start line, and you can simply watch it cross the finish line.

How can we find out our duck number(s)?

After the race, the numbers for all purchased ducks will be posted for everyone to view and reference.

Just a few days remaining to get your ducks! This weekend is a great opportunity to enjoy time with your neighbors and friends. Savor tasty offerings from three different food trucks, while the kids have a blast on the inflatable waterslide or in the bounce house. Ducks will also be available for purchase on-site. Parking is available at 1005 Overlook Drive off of St. Rt. 162. This event is open to members and non-members.

Lake Fest is for Members and their guests only. Current wristbands are required for entry.

Lake Fest morning boat parking reminder:

There is absolutely no overnight parking Friday night, any boat left overnight will be removed.

The main beach will not open for parking until 8am Saturday AFTER the beach has been cleaned and raked. Open parking will be south of the platform. Please avoid marked reserved areas for Silent Auction winners & Lake Fest Committee Volunteers.

Docks are raffle winners only from 11am-2pm. All raffle winners will be guaranteed their spot until 2pm. If a raffle winner vacates their spot after 2pm, it is up for grabs/available for the taking. All raffle winner signage will be removed at 2pm

Please be safe while parking, avoid docks if children are present, and park as close to neighboring boats as possible.

Understand if you are parking on the beach, volunteers will be adjusting boats to create parking space throughout the day.

Thank you for your understanding as we are trying to have a safe and simple experience for all.

Have a groovy weekend and don't forget to thank the Lake Fest Committee members for a wonderful event as well as our Maintenance crew for all the set up, maintaining of the property during the event and clean up afterwards.
