After requests from parents at both Cape Fear Academy and Island Montessori, we have installed a teacher workday camp for their 10/30 teacher workday!

Get them off screens and outside for fishing and forest adventures.

We KNOW that you are always on top of your child's school schedule.....BUT if you happen to have missed it, you've got some teacher workdays heading your way!

You can either let your child sit in front of screens all day OR let us get them outside! Our teacher workday camps are a great way to get your child active on those days off while giving you the childcare that you need. Check out the dates below:

New Hanover County Schools:
October 26- Fishing/Crabbing
November 3- Fishing/Forest Adventures
January 19- Forest Adventures/Wilderness Survival
February 15- Forest Adventures/Wilderness Survival

Wilmington Academy of Arts and Sciences:
October 12th- Fishing/Crabbing
March 15- Forest Adventures/Wilderness Survival

May 3- Fun in the Marsh

Soooo, we hoped to get through a few more weeks with our old motor on our boat. Alas, the outboard gods had different plans and it was not meant to be.

Boat charters, island days, and island camping will be unavailable for the next 3 to 3.5 weeks 😪 but we should be good to go by the middle of September. And the new power is going to be awesome.

In the meantime, we'd LOVE to take you kayaking!

Our busiest season has passed so we are finally getting to reintroduce ourselves to each other 😆.

We are sad, exhausted, happy, and blessed here at the end of another summer camp season!

Season 12 was awesome and we can't wait to see you next summer for more crabbing, fishing, tubing, kayaking, exploring, and more!

In the meantime, get on the water with us for a fun kayak excursion, boat charter, or island adventure!

The last week of summer camp also means our last trip to The Swamp Park for this year. Between the ropes courses and the ziplines, our kids always have a blast here every week!
