Worked on a client's "closet in crisis" that took 3 hrs to put in order...dresses on left hung from sleeveless to short sleeve to long sleeve. Then sweaters & coats. Right side were tops once again by graduated sleeve length, pants underneath with leggings together then jeans. She was amazed she could once again see the carpet😄 Love doing this kind of "work" & love seeing my clients reactions!!

Organizing Your Mail...do you find yourself moving piles of mail all around your kitchen wondering where to put it? Mail is one of those types of clutter that will never go away. You need to come up with a system that works for you & stick with it!
- Go thru your pile & toss any junk mail as soon as it comes in.
- Set up a place to keep mail supplies (stamps, envelopes, return
address labels...)
- Keep only current magazines & catalogs. Tear out the page if you
want to keep an article or picture. Cancel catalogs from stores you
haven't ordered from in over a year
- Set up a tiered rack for incoming mail - "To Do" like responding to an
invitation, cut out coupons, schedule an appointment. "Outgoing" for
letters/bills to be mailed. "Whenever" for solicitations, articles of
interest, things to look into at your leisure.
- Pay bills online if possible to cut down on incoming mail & postage
- Keep a paper shredder handy & shred any confidential information
before re-cycling.

Organize Your Purse: The function of your purse should be to carry what you need while on the go & you should be able to access everything quickly. Always try to purchase bags with many compartments to keep items sorted.
First empty your purse of all contents
Sort thru your receipts & toss or shred those you don't need
Collect all loose change
Sort thru debit & credit cards. Cancel & shred any you no longer use
Make a list of remaining cards & keep in a safe place in case your wallet or purse is stolen
Organize your purse into zones. Makeup & beauty supplies in a zippered pouch, receipts in another pouch, pen & pad in separate compartment, cell phone & keys in a handy compartment...
If you have a purse with one large inside area, you can buy an insert with a number of divided sections
Most people only use 20% of the items they carry with them. Try to limit what you bring along
Clean out your purse weekly & rearrange items that are out of place

Answer to my earlier post challenge as to what is the household item most likely to be lost.....🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 (that's my drumroll!)
TV Remote is misplaced the most followed by phones, car/house keys, glasses and shoes.
You may not agree ( I would put glasses as my #1) but whatever your #1 is, it may be worthwhile to find a good organizing product (basket, charging station, key rack, shelf, shoebag...) to help keep you sane!

Purging anything in your home (closet, junk drawer, purses, paperwork...) can be so cleansing and uplifting but what to do with all the items you are saying good-bye to? If they have life left in them, consider donating them to one of the local charities or thrift stores that can sell your things to benefit their causes. It's a win-win situation!!
