Today we had the pleasure of bringing together 17 incredible non-profit partners and 12 faculty members committed to exploring how community engagement can strengthen student learning.

A huge shoutout to the 12 faculty who dedicated two days to professional development through our Problem Based Learning workshop, collaborating directly with community partners to reimagine how real-world challenges can be integrated into the classroom.

We’re excited to see the innovative, community-engaged learning experiences that will emerge from this work and the impact they will have on both students and our community partners. Thank you to our partners at the Endeavor Center who made this workshop possible.

Alternative Spring Break Spotlight: 🌲🪴Keeping It Evergreen🪴🌲

Rollins students and faculty traveled to Seattle, Washington in order to participate in volunteer work, discussions, and events centered around sustainability and environmental protection.

A culture of service has defined Rollins throughout its history, often represented by the persona of Mister Rogers, embodied by alumnus Fred Rogers ’51. In tribute to this tradition, the inaugural activity of the Inauguration Celebration will be a Day of Service, hosted by President Brooke Barnett and her husband, Dr. Tom Mould.

VolunTARS will travel from campus to local nonprofits to learn more about their work, contribute service, and reflect on their experience.
