Only 1.5 hours from Atlanta, Amicalola Falls is home to the tallest cascading waterfall in the Southeast! Here’s your quick guide:

Quick Tips:
🚗 Parking: $10 per vehicle (GA State Park Pass)
👟 Gear: Wear shoes with grip—mist makes the stairs slick!
⏰ Best Time: Arrive by 8:30–9:00 AM to grab parking near the trailheads.

Being from the south, this is a short ride for me! It’s the best of both worlds! You can get a hike in but you also get iconic waterfall views!

If you have little ones, there is also a creek at the top of the falls for them to splash around in!

You have to stay at the lodge and mark it off your bucket list! It’s so beautiful with its architecture and the views from the outdoor dining area are amazing! 🙌
