Postcards from Moraine Lake 🇨🇦📌 Save this list of the 5 best photo spots around the lake for your Banff trip!

1. Top of the Rockpile: The iconic “Twenty Dollar View.” A 5-minute stair climb from the shuttle drop-off for elevated views of the Ten Peaks. Best at sunrise!

2. The Lakeshore Path: Walk 10 minutes past the canoe dock to escape crowds and get clean, mirror-like reflections on the water

3. The Canoe Dock Boardwalk: Shoot the bright red canoes in the foreground against the neon-blue lake. (No rental required for photos from the dock).

4. Consolation Lakes Trailhead: Located right behind the Rockpile. Use the evergreen trees to frame the mountains for natural depth.

5. Tower of Babel / Sentinel Pass (For Hikers): Steeper trails offering a high-alpine, panoramic perspective overlooking the entire valley.

P.S. The good thing is Moraine Lake is only a 25 minute drive from Lake Louise! You can definitely do them both in one day!
