Check the Forest Order to ensure campfires are permitted where you plan to recreate and always practice campfire safety.

✔ Clear all flammable fuel within 5 feet of ring
✔ Never leave campfires unattended
✔ Completely extinguish using drown, stir, feel method – if it’s too hot to touch it’s to hot to leave

With Fire restriction in effect on the Klamath National Forest where Can I Have A Campfire? Campfires can only be in fire rings at the following sites:

Goosenest District – ✔ Campgrounds: Juanita Lake, Martin’s Dairy, Orr Lake & Shafter. Day Use: Juanita Lake Day Use Area.

Salmon Scott District – Campgrounds: Carter Meadows Group, Hidden Horse, Idlewild, Indian Scotty, Trail Creek & Kangaroo Lake. Day Use Areas: Jones Beach Picnic Area & Kangaroo Lake Picnic Area.

Happy Camp Oak Knoll District – Campgrounds: Curly Jack, Grider Creek, Norcross; Sarah Totten, Sulphur Springs, Beaver Creek, Mount Ashland & Tree of Heaven. Day Use: Grouse Gap Shelter.

We're back! 🎶

After a short summer break, the Yreka Summer Concerts in the Park returns for three more Friday nights of live music, great food, and community fun in Miner Street Park.
