If you're flying Air Canada, did you know that one of our dog teams is on the "fasten your seatbelt" section of the safety video?

The filming was done on Lake Laberge near where we live. Ned is in it with his dog team, and there is a gorgeous close up of his leaders, Sam and Nimbus.

Yukon River Canoe Trip, 7 days, end of July - Paddling and drifting through wilderness and history from Lake Laberge to Carmacks. This was part of the main route to the Klondike Gold Rush in 1898. We stop at places of historical interest along the way and camp by the lake or river at night. Still 2 - 3 more spaces available on this trip. Start date is likely July 23 or 24, depending on what works best for schedule of additional participants. I'm happy to send more details if you might be interested.

It has been a much quieter time for guiding since the beginning of the pandemic. One of the silver linings has been that I have finally had time to put together a calendar of pictures taken on my wanderings throughout the Yukon over the years. This is the September picture for the 2022 calendar.

If you would like a calendar, please let me know. I am planning to sell them for $20 + shipping (and 5% GST).

I will double check the postal rates for Canada, the U.S. and overseas and post that shortly. I plan to do the mail-outs during October, so that gives time if anyone would like one for themself or to give one or more as gifts.
