Tarpon is probably the hardest saltwater game fish to get a hook into due to its tough boney mouth so always keep your hooks sharps and set it extra hard for those juvenile tarpon in lagoons and larger rolling tarpon in open water you will encounter at Los Roques.

Great performance . This nice permit was landed using an 8w predator 890-4 special edition rod and a rise w8 fly reel Redington tackle. All need it. The equipment was fully reliable and functioned perfectly during all the action. The fly was an olive crab, very effective for permit at Los Roques. And finally, a great attitude and guiding !!!!!!!
