Gertrude’s was always our go-to in White Bay on Jost Van D**e! A great place with amazing food where you could pour your own cocktail. We have taken many of our guests to Gertrude’s. It was sad to hear of her passing today, but we know Gertrude is somewhere pouring her own tonight! Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and all of JVD today!

And after 21 wonderful, amazing charters around the British Virgin Islands, USVI, and the Spanish Virgins, we are DONE for the 23-24 season! We want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to every guest, every dock master, every dockhand, every single person who helped to make our 4th season the best one yet!!! You guys make this the very best job in the world!

Here’s looking forward to next season! We’ve got some big news coming up on our plans for next year! Let us know if you want to RumAway with us!

We have officially kicked off our third charter season and couldn’t be more excited! For everyone who has joined us on RumAway, or sent friends or family to us, we want to share a heartfelt thank you! For any of our family and friends who have been supportive and amazing, thank you! We’ve had a great couple of years and met so many amazing new friends.We have enjoyed every group we have had the pleasure of hosting! For everyone who has asked, Chef Tara is working on her first cookbook. To all those guests who have shared their vacation with us, THANK YOU! And for those who have yet to take the plunge, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? YOLO!

Guess what fearless travelers? RumAway isn’t going to run away from fun this summer! We are around and booking day, or term, charters from the USVI, BVI, or Spanish VI all summer long!

Now booking half day charters (4 hours) from 10am - 2pm, full day charters from 10am to 5pm, or sunset gourmet dinner charters from 4pm - 8pm!

We can accommodate up to 12 guests aboard our 53’ sailing catamaran. Our half day charters include all your alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (after-all our name begins with RUM) and a gourmet lunch. Our full day charters include a gourmet lunch, snacks, and all your alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and our specialty is our sunset sails! They start with champagne and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a salad, main course, and dessert under the stars…..All of our charters include snorkel gear, ALL the toys, and lifelong memories.

Did I mention we can accommodate gluten free, keto, vegetarian, and pescatarian options?

Hey there friends! We are off to Italy again! And did I tell you I cut off my hair? Much too long and HOTTT! Going to Tuscany this time to celebrate Travis’ father’s 80th birthday! We’ll make sure to share some photos along the way!
