Snorkeling around St. John is pretty hard to beat.

Virgin Islands National Park doesn’t just protect the land—the park also includes about 5,650 acres of surrounding marine and offshore waters.

That means plenty of protected water to explore, with coral, sea turtles, rays, tropical fish, and lots of other marine life along the way.

Big day in the Virgin Islands ... our friends at are back at it!

St. John is open today, with St. Thomas following next week. After a quick hurricane season break, they’re back serving tacos and cold drinks right on the water.

And since Lime Out is only accessible by boat … good news, we happen to have a few.

If an island could have a mascot, St. John would definitely have our donkey friends near the top of the list.

Originally introduced to the island during colonial times, the donkeys are now feral and roam all over St. John. You’ll occasionally spot them wandering along the beaches, but you’re much more likely to find them strolling down the road like they own the place.

They’ve become part of the St. John experience ... and seem to enjoy island life just as much as the rest of us.

When we say Trunk Bay is award-winning, we mean it.

Beach.com, Tripadvisor, and USA Today have named it among the best beaches in the world and the Caribbean ... and the list goes on.

While we can’t pull right onto the beach (due to National Park regulations), our private charters can get you very close to Trunk Bay and give you a completely different view from the water. From there, we’ve got plenty of equally beautiful beaches and snorkel spots nearby where we can stop and spend some time.
