🚨 Before you book Machu Picchu, read this. It could save your trip.

One thing I want to clarify from the reel 👇
I did get a Machu Picchu ticket - just not the one I originally wanted.
When Circuit/Route 2 was sold out, I booked Circuit 1A (Panoramic Route) instead so I wouldn't miss visiting Machu Picchu. While I was there, I explored the possibility of getting a different ticket in person.

Also, an important correction:
📍 In the reel, I mention both Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo) and Ollantaytambo as ticket office locations. To avoid any confusion, the official in-person office for last-minute Machu Picchu tickets is the Ministry of Culture's Cultural Centre in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).

The biggest lesson?
✨ Don't wait until the last minute to book Route 2. It's the most popular circuit and often sells out weeks in advance. If it does, there are still other options - but knowing them before your trip can save you a lot of stress.

Nobody tells you this about Machu Picchu until it's too late 🇵🇪⛰️
I made every mistake so you don't have to - booked flights before tickets, underestimated the altitude, and rushed through Cusco like it was just a layover. Huge regret.

Not a filter. Not AI. Just Earth's most surreal mountain 🌈
I stood at 5,200m staring at a mountain that looks like it was painted by hand - turns out those stripes are millions of years of mineral layers doing all the work. Freezing sunrise, thin air, legs burning the whole trek up... and still one of the most unreal moments of my life.

Rainbow Mountain didn't just make my bucket list - it broke it.
