“Visited Nui Dat - very moving experience to be where my Dad was conscripted to at only 20 years of age. Signal man for 7RAR, needed to carry 45kg of supplies and radio and spend 20 days in the jungle at a time. So grateful he made it home and privileged to lay flowers and put insense at both Vietnamese and Australian memorial at Long Tan.”

“We saw the most amazing scenery.
Stopped at Quan Ba twin mountain and Heaven’s Gate on the way to Ha Giang.
Walked through Thon Tha Village, a village of traditional stilt houses where the villagers live on the top floor, and water buffalo, ducks, chickens, frogs etc. live below.
Walked through market stalls of flowers, fruits, meat and everything in between in the city while dodging crazy traffic.
Exaxtly how I imagined Vietnam would be 🥹
Accommodation: Four Points Sheraton (omg! Posh!)”
