Phu Quoc Island will be the first tourist destination in Vietnam reopened to fully-vaccinated foreign visitors beginning from November 2021.

Foreign travelers will be required to have received their second vaccine shot at least 14 days before travelling to the island and no more than 12 months ahead of arrival. They must also register negative for Covid-19 with a PCR test within 72 hours ahead of departing on the trip.

The government also plans to open more tourist destinations, step by step, depending on how the covid-19 situation is controled.

: Thung Nham - a nice green place for bird watching in Ninh Binh

Lying among the mountains of Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, Thung Nham is blessed with all of the striking natural landscapes found in Ninh Binh. Visitors have the chance to experience ecotourism with numerous beautiful lakes, ancient primary forests and mysterious caves.

Discovery tours on offer in the area include forest treks, cave visits and camping activities, with campfires and fishing on the menu. The area manages to combine man-made and natural charms in harmony.

How do you think about "Free consultation" from travel agent?

When you plan a trip to a faraway country, you often seek assistance from a travel agent and they always offer you free consultation. I wonder if you enjoy this offer even if later you will not book the trip with the agent or you think it's fair to pay some little fee for their work (if you don't book with them yet happy with the work they do for you)?

I'm a travel consultant and my job is helping people plan their trip and of course, I must try any way to let them book the package, so that my work will be compensated. You will be followed by email, message or even phone calls if you leave your number. I know people are not always happy to be followed but that is my job. From this fact, I have the idea that I will charge customers a small fee to help them plan a trip that meet their expectation and estimate the cost that they will need for that trip. Then, they can do the trip by themselves or book with a trusted travel agent without worrying that they can be overcharged.

If you think people are willing to pay for travel consultant's work, I would plan to be a freelance consultant. So, really appreciate your idea on this. Thank you in advance!

: Visit the "Brick Kingdom" of Mang Thit in Vinh Long province - a must-see in

Well known as the Kingdom of Bricks, Mang Thit stretches along the banks of various rivers - Co Chien river, Cai Nhum river, Thay Cai canal and straight paved highways in Mang Thit District, Vinh Long Province.

The Kingdom of Bricks Mang Thit is the house to nearly 1,000 brick factories with about 2,000 kilns. Almost every single household in Mang Thit district has about 2 to 3 kilns.

: Pouring water season in Y Ty

Y Ty commune, Bat Xat district is about 70km from Lao Cai city. Y Ty attracts tourists by the clouds, mountains, and artistic terraced rice fields.

The 'pouring water season' starts from May to June. As locals transplant rice seedlings, visitors are treated to the sight of glittering ponds. After that, the hills are covered by green.

Pure and heavenly beauty of natural landscape in Y Ty has enhanced many people who love adventures and going off the beaten track.

Note for travel: You can take a night train from Hanoi to Lao Cai then onto Y Ty by car. It's great to combine a trip to Y Ty with its famous neighbor commune
