Morning
07:30 AM: The tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or the designated meeting point. We will then depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels (approximately 2-hour drive).
09:00 AM: On the way, we will make a 30-minute stop at a local lacquerware workshop where you can relax and shop for handcrafted souvenirs.
10:00 AM: Arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Before entering, visitors will watch a short introductory video explaining how the tunnels were built.
You’ll then spend about an hour exploring the tunnels and learning about their fascinating history.
After the tour, enjoy a light local snack of hot tea and cassava — a staple food for guerilla fighters during the war. You may also try shooting with AK47s at the shooting range (optional, fees not included).
12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Cu Chi.
Afternoon
12:30 PM: Depart for the Mekong Delta. The drive to My Tho takes approximately 2 hours.
2:30 PM: Arrive in My Tho and board a traditional wooden motorboat to Unicorn Island. During the 20-minute cruise along the river, you’ll pass scenic creeks, a bustling fishing port, and unique stilt houses along the banks.
Visit a bee farm where you can enjoy a cup of fresh honey tea. Take a leisurely walk through quiet villages and experience the local way of life in the Mekong Delta.
Next, stop at a seasonal orchard to sample various tropical fruits, while enjoying traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music.
For a deeper experience, we’ll divide into small groups and board hand-rowed sampans. During this 15-minute boat ride through narrow canals lined with lush water coconut trees, you’ll see how locals travel and enjoy the serene countryside atmosphere — a true escape from city life.
Our final stop is a village renowned for its handmade coconut candy and products. Learn how local people creatively use coconut trees to make a variety of useful items — an essential part of daily life here.
05:00 PM: After finishing all activities, we will return to Ho Chi Minh City.
07:00-7:30 PM: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. End of the tour.
