Two Happiness Trees – A must-see in Y Ty

Choan Then is a village of the Ha Nhi ethnic community. From the very first step into the village, you’ll fall in love with its ancient architectural charm. The houses here are a blend of traditional rammed-earth homes with warm yellow clay walls and newer houses painted in similar tones. Most of them feature distinctive four-sided roofs, giving the entire village a timeless, almost ancient feel.

The highlight of Choan Then is the “Two Happiness Trees” in Choan Then Park. Don’t misunderstand the word park here—it’s not a modern park, but a traditional communal space where local festivals and activities take place, such as Ga Ma O, Ga Ma thu and Kho Gia Gia.

These trees have stood for generations, quietly witnessing the village’s history and transformation. Through every season, they reveal a different kind of beauty—whether in the soft light of sunrise or the golden glow of sunset.
