This was Nova's very first apple-picking experience, and now she gets why everyone loves it. It’s peaceful, grounding, and surprisingly fun — especially when you’re with good company. 🍏
We spent the afternoon exploring the orchard, sampling the sweetest apples right from the trees, and soaking up the sunshine before fall officially began.

Our friend Stephen and his dog Max (the real MVP of the orchard 🐾) joined Nova and I, at Patch Orchard in Lebanon, New Hampshire, where the view stretched for miles and the air smelled like crisp apples and sunshine.

Sometimes the smallest change in framing tells a whole new story.
These two shots were taken just minutes apart with Katahdin at the background, Maine’s highest peak and the northern end of the Appalachian Trail. The reflection was so still it felt like the world was holding its breath. 🍂

Mount Katahdin stands 5,268 feet tall and marks the finish line for hikers completing the 2,190-mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia.
