Thai New Year at the temple was still full of tradition. We made wishes at the Buddha images, poured water over them, and built sand pagodas.

Some temples even had special performances. This one had a Khon (masked dance drama) show performed by kids. Such a beautiful way to celebrate! 🥰

Hi everyone,

To update you on the earthquake situation, we haven’t had any strong aftershocks. Some buildings have been affected and need to be checked before people are allowed to go inside.

Luckily, our temples in Bangkok haven’t suffered much damage, and we hope that everyone trapped under the collapsed building has survived. We think we are safe from the earthquake now.

Every morning, the monk receives food from us and returns to the temple to share the food with other monks.

This means the monks don’t have to cook. We cook for them, and we love doing it. It’s a beautiful way to learn about sharing 😊
