Nestled along the Mullica River, this little slice of paradise in the Pine Barrens has been a place of peace, joy, and countless good memories. Over the last 8 years, I’ve loved sharing it with so many wonderful friends and guests. Hosting thousands of folks from all over the world, watching people slow down, connect, and soak in the quiet magic of nature was a gift. With a heart full of memories, it’s time to let this special place begin its next chapter. 🫶🏼

Hop in the car and enjoy a 1.9 mi scenic drive through small town roads to arrive at Historic Batsto - trailhead to several hiking trails that wind through the magical Pine Barrens. 🌲👣

September and October in NJ are the summer you never know you were missing. With little to no humidity and perfect temps, it is the ideal time to be outside! office space..
this past Spring I added a new [she shed] and raised bed garden to the property. this space serves as my office, potting shed, and fun place to hang. it’s situated at the front of the property overlooking the garden and river. this 12x24 beaut has 8 windows, transom lights, a set of double doors, an overhead garage door, and the interior is wrapped wall to ceiling with rough cut pine. The structure was made by the Amish and the inside was finished by my Dad 🫶🏼

the fridge of my dreams in the Bluebird Kitchen
The fridge was my biggest splurge in terms of the interior, when building the Bluebird Cottage in 2019. It took 4 months to arrive from Italy and almost missed arriving in time for my first guests!
It’s the highlight of the kitchen and it’s sure to make you smile.
Fun Fact: this beauty was once a part of a proposal! [she said yes]

This room is special ✨ Lined top to bottom with tongue & groove cedar planks and home to plants and vinyls, this 3 season room provides unobstructed views to the river and a perfect spot to recharge and reflect. Enjoy your morning coffee/tea at the bistro set or an afternoon read in the wicker chaise. This room has all the [good] vibes you’re looking for. I added this room onto the cottage in August of 2021 and Steph with thoughtfully curated and decorated in Feb 2023. Swipe to see the before!

🌲You’ll hand dip a pair of beeswax candles; yours to take home.

🌲Rob and Lauren will discuss all things honeybees, beeswax, and their hives.

🌲Sample honey from various locations, enjoy a cup of my homegrown herbal Garden Tea, + light fare.
