This summer festival focuses on country music and BBQ, and they both didn’t disappoint. Marriott always gives the VIP treatment, but looking at the crowds in that heat made me happy they had an area specifically to cool down in the AC.

I had never heard of before I attended, but she’s on my playlist now.

When I tell you my girl did that, she DID THAT!!! I am so proud of sharing her creativity, design eye, and fashion sense with us all at The Crowning showcase last month. These blend of soft, feminine, masculine, vintage, light fabric and heavy chains. It was breathtaking.

These are only a small snippet of what she has created with , and what she shared with us just over a week ago. The variation in body shapes, sizes, genders, ages, gender identities, and more was admirable and very intentional. I have a few pieces from her collections, but I can’t wait to add more.

Had a wonderful stay early this month at the in San Francisco’s Union Square. The property is filled with charm and beauty, with the signature White Tea scent.

I stayed in a suite overlooking Union Square (and had a delicious drink with a view). Thank you to the whole team at the Westin St. Francis for the hospitality and wonderful weekend at the beginning of Pride month.

Missed my connection in Paris…but I turned it into a memory.

With only a few hours in one of my favorite cities I had a short list of things I had to do.

• cinnamon sugar + butter crêpe
• wandering Montmartre
• views from Sacré-Cœur
• Eiffel Tower sparkling after dark

I’m happy to say I checked them all off the list.

Moral of the story: sometimes getting stuck in Paris isn’t the worst thing that can happen. Live the moments life sets out for you, you never know where they will take you.

Yesterday, I took a trip down memory lane to my beloved alma mater, Morgan State University, and my heart is so full! 🧡💙 Every time I step foot on this campus, it truly feels like coming home. The familiar sights, the vibrant energy, and the sense of community remind me of the incredible journey I embarked on here.

Morgan State holds a special place in my heart because it’s more than just a university; it’s a family. The friendships I built, the lessons I learned, and the rich history of this HBCU shaped who I am today. HBCUs like Morgan are vital—they empower and uplift Black students, providing a nurturing environment where we can thrive academically and personally.

These institutions are crucial in producing top-tier Black talent who are ready to lead, innovate, and create change in the world. They foster a sense of belonging and pride, and I am forever grateful for the experiences that have helped me grow into the person I am today.

To everyone at Morgan, past and present—thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Let’s continue to celebrate the impact of HBCUs and uplift our community!✊🏾

We made it to Baltimore City on the Walk to Wall Street, and I couldn’t be more excited!

Whenever I’m in town, I always make a stop at Midnite Confections Cupcakery—seriously, it’s a must! 🍰❤️ Located in the charming Federal Hill neighborhood, this Black-owned gem serves up the most delicious, creative cupcakes that never fail to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Today, I picked up some of their amazing treats, and let me tell you, they are the perfect fuel for our journey! If you're in the area, you’ve got to check them out. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
