The storm has passed and all is calm on island. Hurricane Erin brought lots of rain and some gnarly winds. Every storm season is humbling and a reminder to stay prepared & be safe.

Villa Hermosa has one more reservation to close out our season and then we will shut down for all of September. Storm systems continue to develop in the Atlantic and we will keep monitoring.

During shut down we will be preparing for our Fall refresh and the next season of hosting! We have some great projects underway to continue making Villa Hermosa a beautiful & comfortable home away from home for many!

P.S. Salt Deck with is the best way to enjoy the water and experience the island from the sea! Family friendly! Water slide! Floats and so much more!

Walking the beach and reflecting how far we have come….
How special St. John is to us and so many.
How many wonderful people we have met and come into our lives from this small island.
How beautiful it is.
How we get to make many endless memories here with our kids, family and friends.
How the island makes us better humans and teaches us so much.
Life’s adventures are truly incredible.
