This is… Kenya!

My first 2 nights are spent in the Karen District of Nairobi. This favorite hotel is set in a former farm estate, all suites for luxurious comfort- and the space I need to repack my Safari bag, lol. I love that I can call my butler at any time for anything- it helps the first day to recover from the long flight if I want a meal so I can just sleep in. However, the grounds are too beautiful for asking for a golf cart ride to the restaurant, spa, gym or pool- I can walk and enjoy the quietness of nature!

Nearby are the and the Giraffe Center (home of the famed Giraffe Manor as well) and also Karen Blixen’s (Out of Africa) farmstead- all of which I will visit today. Baby elephant rescued orphans are in my near future!!!!!
