Disneyland didn't know what hit them! We packed so much into our day - breakfast at the Jolly Holiday Bakery (l had lemon-raspberry tiramisu that I WILL try to recreate), an early flight on the Millennium Falcon (Margaret crushed it as a pilot) followed by pre-noon drinks at Oga's, all of the attractions that don't exist at Walt Disney World plus plenty that do, poke bowls and tropical drinks at Trader Sam's, so so much more! We even had time to enjoy the rooftop bar (with a view) at our hotel!

All in all, we had a wonderful trip! I can't wait to figure out where we will go next!

What a fun day at Disney's California Adventure!

Disneyland, in general, has a much smaller footprint than Walt Disney World, and DCA has several "lands" that don't exist in Florida. My favorite was Cars Land. So cute and just like the movie. Trey would love it!

I HIGHLY recommend the World of Color Dessert Party. The menu (and drinks) were delicious and being about to sit and enjoy a great show was fantastic!

So much cheese! We got off the ship yesterday and journeyed about an hour to La Cava de Marcelo, a family-owned dairy farm, where we learned about cheese making and enjoyed cheese (cheese and more cheese!), ice cream, local wines and craft beers. Then we came back to the ship to enjoy our final evening on board.

Off to Disneyland today!

We had a day at sea yesterday, so we had time to explore the ship, test the Bionic Bar and enjoy some late (for us!) karaoke! There was as a special presentation celebrating 20 years of Shondaland. AND SHONDA RHIMES and her pals were onboard! It. Was. Awesome!

We're in Ensenada, Mexico this morning and have an excursion planned. More on that later!

After taking a quick peek at our cabin and exploring the thermal spa, we conquered a slight fear of heights by taking a ride up on the North Star. There are only a few Royal Caribbean ships that offer this clear, glass-enclosed observation pod that gives you a 360-degree view from about 300 feet above sea level, and Ovation of the Seas is one of them!
