Vacation can be tough on people who have varying sensory needs. Even though they are enjoying themselves it’s out of their routine from home. Ariel and I started taking morning walks around the ship. She saw her friends even though she wasn’t ready to visit. This was a windy day and provided excellent resistance to open these doors. It created heavy work for her which helps with her proprioceptive input. This helps her regulate and she usually felt much better at the end.
