🛄 Airport Baggage Restrictions for OFWs and Travelers

Avoid delays, fines, or confiscation by knowing what’s allowed in your check-in and hand carry luggage.

🧳 HAND CARRY (CABIN BAG) – usually 7KG limit

❌ STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED:

Sharp objects
• Knives, scissors, box cutters, blades, tools (even small ones)
• Swords, screwdrivers, or anything pointed/sharp

Liquids over 100ml per container
• Includes lotion, shampoo, toothpaste, perfume, water, soft drinks, milk
• Liquids must be in containers 100ml or less, placed in 1-liter transparent ziplock

Lighters
• Torch lighters strictly not allowed
• One regular lighter may be carried in your pocket only, not in bags

Power banks over 27,000 mAh (100Wh)
• Must be in hand carry only
• Not allowed in check-in bags regardless of size

Explosives or replicas
• Fireworks, stun guns, toy guns, prop weapons – all are banned in the cabin

🚫 CHECK-IN BAGGAGE – NOT ALLOWED:

Power banks / Lithium batteries
• Always hand carry only – never in checked luggage

Flammable liquids / chemicals
• Includes large amounts of alcohol, paint, thinner, fuel
• V**e juice over allowed limits is also restricted

Explosives, fireworks, dynamite, etc.

Live animals (without permit or pet cargo arrangement)

Compressed gas / Spray paint

Perishable or strong-smelling food
• e.g., bagoong, durian, raw fish (unless properly packed/sealed)

🔍 ALLOWED WITH CONDITIONS:

✔️ V**e or E-cigarette Devices
• Max of 2 devices
• Must be in hand carry only and inside a case
• Max of 2 bottles of v**e juice (100ml each)

✔️ Medicines
• Bring your doctor’s prescription, especially for injectable meds like insulin
• Pack in hand carry

✔️ Food souvenirs (e.g. baked goods, chocolates, dried fish)
• Allowed if properly sealed and packaged
• Best placed in check-in baggage

📌 Traveler Tips:

Avoid bringing: • Too many canned goods (limit to 6 or fewer)
• More than 2 bottles of alcoholic drinks
• Water bottles in your hand carry – buy after immigration instead
