Since it's been awhile, Hiyah! I'm KT, your favorite "professional" travel agent and chaotic traveler! I specialize in honeymoons and couples travel in Mexico and the rest of the Caribbean! I have even dipped my toes in the water and have planned trips to Europe, too! As much as I love being a part of my clients special day, I am excited to start planning more hands on and adventurous travel. Even if I personally have never been to a country before, my clients still trust me because of my transparency and long built reputation of solo traveling. They see all of my great, wholesome, questionable, and sticky situations via instagram!

My ideal clients are people who are ready to explore the rest of the world and immerse themselves into culture. Even if we have to test the waters first by cruising or going to an all inclusive resort!

How I handle my chaotic clients: 🤪👍🏽

The glamorous vs the not so glamorous life of a travel agent. Just last week I got to visit a new country for the first time to tour and review a hotel. Toda- tonight, I am on hold with the airline trying to change a 3 hour and 45 minute delayed flight.

Did you know that some airlines are obligated to refund the unused ticket value when flights are delayed for more than 4 hours.. 🫠

This is a moment where a travel agent is worth it "when you can just do it yourself," I'm currently on hold with the airline, and my wait time is anywhere from an hour and a half to 2 hours long, I'm also in a waiting queue online and I'm simply waiting on the one that answers first and doesn't test my patience.

Did you even know there was an online queue that services you dramatically quicker than the phone line? No? Guess who does, me 🙂

Guess who is staying up yelling at robots to give them a real person instead of going to bed and watching anime, not my clients(:

Apparently it’s International Travel Advisor Day, and to celebrate, I’m listing all the chaotic things I’ve done while traveling (dad, I’m only halfway sorry) 🤪
- hail a taxi that wasn’t a taxi… and the gas came from a coke bottle. I was with a friend AND I SWEAR HE WAS A NICE OLD MAN HE DIDNT WANT TO CHARGE US MONEY

- climb the rocks off the side of the ocean in Australia and almost got bitten by a snake

- climb the rocks off the side of the ocean in Malaysia and slip because I thought I was Spider-Man

- got stuck in a tree

- left my phone on the skinny part of Angel’s Landing and didn’t realize it until half a mile down

- feed the monkeys when I was specifically told not to (I wasn’t the only one)

- clicked the wrong address for my hotel thinking it was the right one… just to WALK one hour in the wrong direction… I hailed a taxi back… yes it was a real taxi.

- walk as a pedestrian in Vietnam, if you know you know

Do as I say and not as I do. 🫡

Currently on the road! It’s a wedding weekend and thankfully I was able to get some work done at the airport and on the plane. A big thank you to all of my clients for both photography and travel for being so patient with me as I play catchup!

I want to attempt something fun! Emphasis on the attempt. My current clients who have booked and are currently booked with me will get an exclusive digital post card from me sent straight to their emails every time I travel! These digital postcards will include fun photos, “Kt what were you thinking moments,” and food and activity recommendations! Unless requested to stop, all current clients will receive these each time I travel.
