Visitors
A couple of nights ago while we had no guests staying we were alerted multiple times of “movements.” Naturally we decided to check to ensure all was well …. As you can see, these visitors came to vacation near the beach too! I’m sure they meant no trouble. Haha! Maybe to even have a bonfire while they were there. 😉 Love the backcountry of the Isles!!
Although our quaint cottage is not beach front, I absolutely love that you can hear the rolling ocean 🌊 and its echos from where we are located! Tucked away but so close. 🩵

We are very fortunate and thinking of all of those who have been affected!
Shallotte NC had some crazy flooding just three minutes away along the Intracoastal waterway and around the Inlet View.
Thankful for our amazing team who worked quick to buckle everything down during the storm and clean up the cottage’s yard and areas after. ❤️
