Spectacular 180 degree views of Beausoleil Island National Park. 15 minutes from Penetanguishene, 10 minutes to Awenda Provincial Park. Large living/dining spaces & breathtaking views from massive deck. Snug & cozy bunkroom perfect for kids. Not bad for adults either, because you won't be spending much time in there anyway! shene. Our beach overlooks the beautiful Beausoleil Island, which is part of Georgian Bay Islands National Park. Wits End is located just south of Awenda Provincial Park. Penetanguishene and Midland are a scenic 10 minute drive away and have anything you may need - grocery stores/Walmart, Tim Horton's, fast food restaurants, gas stations etc. The area also offers live theatre at the Kings Wharf Theatre as well as a local Cineplex for those rainy days. This traditional Canadian cottage is cozy but roomy enough so that you don't feel cramped. Our cottage is 1200 sq ft and is perfect for a family. There is a new gas log fireplace (seasonal). The kitchen has all the amenities that you will need for your stay - coffee maker (with permanent coffee filter), kettle, toaster, crock pot, griddle, blender, fridge, stove and dishwasher. Wifi and an Amazon Firestick are available for you to sign into your accounts. There is also a Blu-Ray player and a well stocked library of our favourite movies. Wits End is tastefully decorated and outfitted with many amenities such as games, a small library with books for all ages, and a radio with auxiliary input to enjoy music from your electronic devices. There is also a bluetooth sound bar for your listening pleasure. There is a large wraparound deck to enjoy outdoor dining and lounging. The area is quiet and peaceful so noise should be kept to a minimum to respect our neighbours. Other amenities that are available:

Beach toys
Tandem Kayak (seats for two people)
2 Stand-up Paddleboards

A guest binder has been provided which includes maps of the area and information from a variety of local attractions.

Wishing all friends of Wits End a wonderful 2025! At this point we will not be renting for this year as Wits End becomes the home base for our move to Tiny. Our hopes are to add a second story (Principal bedroom with water views? Yes, please!) and a garage. We are not sure what the future holds but we are looking forward to it!

Couldn’t get over the number of blooms our lily had!! And if you could smell it! 😍 This lily was transplanted from home and is the only one left because the ones at home in London have been obliterated by Japanese 🪲. 😭 The 🪲 obviously haven’t made their way this far north.
