Aankomende woensdagavond hebben we een zeer interessante ONLINE lezing over etenswaren in de 17e eeuw in het kader van de jaarlijkse Guidor nascholingen.

Deze lezing vertelt wat men in de 17e eeuw in Nederland at en dronk en wat we daarvan in de schilderkunst tegenkomen. Ook de handelsbetrekkingen van Nederland met het Verre Oosten en de daardoor beschikbare luxe voorwerpen, zoals porselein komen aan bod.

An ultimate travel experience should always include a dialogue where we exchange ideas. A guide, tour director, tour manager, local expert , local guide is only as good as the actual experience he can evoke and inspire. Of course the one in charge may overrule, and decide due to the responsibilities and appointments that are made. But communication is not a one way event. As one becomes more insightful more aliveness should enter into sightseeing. A dialogue is so much more exciting. Monologues are out, and not my cup of tea. Good travels to all!
