Last week, the Leesburg Town Council approved a new sculpture to be installed at Georgetown Park, 251 S King Street.

"Love Will Always Grow Here" was created by local artist Alyssa Imes Welti. It references the nature and wildlife of Virginia, and features both the state Dogwood and Cardinal.

The title of the sculpture reflects the idea of growth and love, which mirrors, “Virginia is for Lovers”. Installation is expected to occur this summer.
