In this our dispensation, career shouldn't be chosen based only on talent or witty performance. Much attention has to be paid on its sustainability. Ask yourself, "will my services be relevant in the future?, or will technology render my services obsolete in the nearest future?"

With the advent of Artificial Intelligence, so many things done by humans will be replaced by Artificial intelligence (A.I). So you have to carry out due research before choosing a profession.

AI is taking over!

"longevity makes one better", a modern day travesty of thought!

Many are those who make this statement, "I have been doing this job for years, decades etc so you can't tell me what to do, you can't teach me, blablabla..."

Nowadays, longevity in a particular trade, service, or job doesn't ipso facto (necessarily) make you the best!

Read on!

Gone are those days where past experience or longevity in a particular field used to make one the best! This school of thought has gradually become obsolete owed to the fact that the trends of events have drastically drifted to a direction wherein knowledge or skill is appreciated base on its relevance and rate of impact on a particular goal at a particular time and space.

We are living in a dispensation characterised by high velocity of change, so much so that the way things were done some years back are no longer the same, especial with the advent of technological evolution.

The message I'm passing through is that you should keep away pride, experience or longevity in service syndrome and keep learning modern ways of doing things even from novices who got the modern knowledge needed to produce results cost effective.
