✔️ Invest in a smart doorbell - this will allow you to keep an eye on package deliveries, who's coming and going, and make sure you're not getting any porch pirates.

✔️ Don't post your out of town adventures online. Wait until you get home to share the photos. *ESPECIALLY* if your house is for sale - there are so many eyeballs on it online so you want to make sure no one knows that the house is empty!

✔️Inspect the furnace and chimney before you heat your home.

✔️Invest in a smart thermostat that will allow you to check on and alter the temperature from anywhere.

✔️Check batteries (and expiration dates) on smoke alarms and Carbon Monoxide detectors.

✔️ Use a smart timer on your outdoor Christmas lights.
