🌍 Traveling with kids can be a miserable and a wonderful experience, and it also comes with its own set of challenges for moms. One common problem that we moms face is keeping their little ones entertained and comfortable throughout the journey. ✈️🚗

✨ Here are a few tips to make traveling with kids a breeze:

1️⃣ Pack a travel bag: Fill a bag with snacks, toys, and activities to keep your kids occupied during the journey. Include their favorite books, coloring books, puzzles, and small toys to keep them engaged.

2️⃣ Plan frequent breaks: Kids have a lot of energy and need to stretch their legs. Plan regular breaks during long car rides or flights to let them run around and burn off some energy. This will help prevent restlessness and tantrums.

3️⃣ Bring comfort items: Don't forget to pack their favorite blanket, stuffed animal, or pillow. These familiar items will provide a sense of comfort and security, making them feel more at ease in unfamiliar surroundings.

4️⃣ Use technology wisely: Tablets or smartphones can be a lifesaver during travel. Load them up with age-appropriate games, movies, or educational apps to keep your kids entertained. Just remember to set screen time limits and encourage other activities as well.

5️⃣ Involve them in the planning: Let your kids be a part of the travel planning process. Discuss the destination, activities, and involve them in decision-making. This will make them excited about the trip and give them a sense of ownership.

Remember, traveling with kids may have its challenges, but with a little preparation and creativity, you can create lasting memories and enjoy a stress-free journey. Happy travels, moms! 🌟✈️👩‍👧‍👦

Who are we?

We are Ashley and Trevor, working parents to 3 young daughters (yes 3 girls) and we have traveled across the world with all of them since very young ages, starting when our first child was just 3 months old. We have spanned countless countries and states together as a family.

We have learned A LOT mostly from making mistakes and we want to save others the pain we’ve experienced and help them actually enjoy their family trips without making the same mistakes we have suffered through.

We’ll work through all the details so you don’t have to. We’ll guide you from budgeting and planning to daily activities that allow parents to relax and enjoy childhood vacations through the eyes of their kids. Follow along and together we’ll learn a lot!
