Hacienda Chan Chan is a family owned dairy farm and budding destination get away with a growing host of lodging and outdoor opportunities.

and an excellent opportunity to pet an animal. We are close enough to explore Cuenca, but far enough away to escape it all. Currently there is one wooden chalet available to accommodate up to six guests. The house has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen/living area. For cooler evenings an efficient wood cook stove is able to easily warm the house. Looking for just a day trip out of Cuenca? With roughly 90 hectares of mountain and valley lands to explore we have something for everyone. You are welcome to explore on foot or you can hire one of our horses for the day to explore further. Follow the cow trails through the lush pastures and rock outcroppings to the river bottom. From there you can hike along the river to our private waterfall or bask in the sun on a giant boulder. On the upper portion of the farm you can hike through mixed forest and grazing lands to panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains and Cuenca. We are working on marking the trails and developing a map with distance and times. If you're living in Cuenca and interested in farm fresh products we offer that too. Currently we sell our products in Cuenca on Tuesdays and Fridays and have milk, cream, butter, and yogurt available for purchase. As we expand our business we are also planning on expanding our product line and offering an on-farm store. Esta es una especie de ave en peligro de extinción que tenemos en nuestra granja. Somos uno de los pocos lugares que aún conservan hectáreas de hábitat adecuado para estas aves.
This is an endangered bird species that we have here on our farm. We are one of the few places left that still has hectares of suitable habitat for these birds.
