They wanted a ride with Boston legends. So we let the mascots onboard.

And they say pedicab drivers are weirdos!

But what would a pedicab ride with a couple characters like Pat Patriot and Wally The Green Monster be without a lil gossip.

Pat was the bigger tipper, but Wally’s one-liners were way better.

The monster was better at Boston trivia, but the patriot was unexpectedly good at finding shortcuts.

Neither pinched any driver’s butts. (Which no one should ever do anyway.)

Overall, The Pat Patriot and The The Green Monster were prolly some of the chillest passengers we’ve seen.

This is real Boston.

Kiss me, I’m Trike-ish.

Yup. Pedicab drivers will once again be out among the shenanigans in Southie for the Sunday St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Look for us, and see if you can steal our lucky charms!

Whether you’re heading into South Boston, need a green ride around the neighborhood, or trying to escape the mayhem in the afternoon, watch for Boston’s beloved trike drivers zipping around.

Of course we will be in high demand, so bargain big with pots o’ gold!

These are not the pedicabs you’re looking for.

Long ago on a tricycle far, far away comes a Slab Recall back to that one time a pesky droid tried to cheap out pedicab driver .

It wasn’t that he tried to tip low, It was that he tried to pay in Republic Credits.   REPUBLIC CREDITS DON’T WORK IN THE SOUTH END. Who doesn’t know that?

Looks like our force powers continue to be the most important part of meeting celebrities in this job.

Hey – we’ll give just about anyone a ride.

Don’t worry. We THOROUGHLY disinfected that seat.

At least we sent this poor guy off with a dignified remembrance.

Besides, he was discovered deceased from eating Dumpster Pie (a/k/a, pedicab shop pizza.) So I think it’s safe to say he led a full life and passed away happy.

Safe striking to the great beyond, little freak.

Gargussycats.

LIONSPOTTING: gargoyle edition.

Boston loves lions, as we are always pointing out. But sometimes there’s a bit of architectural cross-pollination with the felines.

These comical felines are cross between great cat and gothic guardian. Half gargoyle, half feline; hence “gargussycat.”

We were gonna go with just ”gargussy,” but that felt a little crass.

Hovering over Copley Square, you have to look way, way up to spot them on Trinity Church. Each one is a little different from the next, as with all the carvings on the grid cathedral. Trinity’s ornate motifs – mostly hand carved – could even be *technically* considered the largest sculpture on Boston.

No wonder they needed such intimidating gargussycats to guard it.

We don’t think a “gargussy” would be taken quite as seriously.

Best thing at the convention. (So why didn’t your company’s CSuite think to book us, too?)

We were the best thing at the Inbound Convention last September. In this Slab Recall, we think back too how grateful we were to for making us part of their VIP service.

While the winter months keep us off the roads, we can’t help but miss the conventions we get to work. It’s one of those gigs where the big bad entrepreneurs get to mingle with us small business Boston experts.

Looking forward to more corporate gigs as soon as this weather warms up.

A slow-season SLAB RECALL back to 2025 East Boston.

From January 2 through March 16 is the slowest season for pedicabs in Boston. Nicknamed “The Desert” by some in the community, we barely get to go out and make mischief.

And so, we spend the chillier months recalling the good times and warm weather.

Back to times when welcomes us to be the ambassadors to the streets and appreciate cool neighborhoods like East Boston.

Back to times when a pack of rumbling trikes travelled AROUND Boston Harbor just to make sure one of Boston’s most remote neighborhoods gets the good stuff.

Back to times when veterans chummed around with n00bs on terrain we’re all a little new to.  And back to times when Walt almost got naked. (Again.)

Two mayors in two weeks.

When the honorable Mayor Simmons of needed an es**rt for the parade route, she knew exactly who to call. Once again, ’s parad expert Christian Matyi swooped in to take her along the route to the huge block party at University Park.

The Carnival season in Grater Boston is definitely early fall, and Cambridge’s own is one of the best!

Thanks so much to Mayor Simmons and her family friends and staff for leading the way in a well-decorated trike!

When the Mayor of Boston calls, you ALWAYS pick up the phone.

It was flattering that was called upon by Boston’s Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭 to have her old buddy Christian Matyi be her es**rt during the annual Caribbean Day Parade in Roxbury.

You see, her Madame Mayor is with her third child, and so walking a parade route is not so wise for an expectant mother. Pedicab wrangler Christian once again es**rted the expectable Mayor and her son Blaise through the parade route.

Because of courCity of Boston’t miss one of the largest events in the !

For half a century (YES HALF A CENTURY), the and parade has been one of the largest cultural events in the whole city. Rivalling Boston’s legendary St. Patrick’s Day, Caribbean Day boasts a longer parade route and perhaps larger attendance than almost any other event day in the city!

So this was definitely a day for the Mayor to show up.!

And of course, XN’s skills were the perfect way to keep the City’s First Mother off her feet for stretched of the route.

The TrikeHub is grateful to the Mayor for keeping Boston’s pedicabs as there representative of pedestrianism in the city.

Imagine being the very, very firstest ride that newlyweds take together…

Sigh.

It’s crazy romantic.

A couple gets married, and then the first thing they do together is pop in a Just married pedicab and off they go to start their adventure.

This is one of those perks of the job that can’t be beat.

Congratulations to the Lauren & Emily! All us slabs of Boston wish you many, many joyous years to come!

LIONSPOTTING. Yup. We keep finding ‘em.

Maybe not our page’s most glamorous series, but pedicabs are about seeing stuff. So it makes sense to keep showing how we’re not (totally) crazy, and there are, indeed, (for whatever reason) Lions all over Boston.
