🗺 Lots of folks have been eager to get a look at our park map. Enjoy a sneak peak with this unofficial trail map. Currently, we have finished 7 trails totaling over 12 miles! 🥾🚴🏇👩🦽
🌳 Buttonbush Trail (0.7miles) - This old road offers shaded and beautiful shore front views of Tucker Lake. Once we open, this trail will permit hiking, cycling, and horseback riding.
🌊 Tucker Lake Trail (4.2 miles) - This is our second longest trail and loops around Tucker Lake. This trail will permit hiking, cycling, and horseback riding to explore rocky cliffs, impressive overlooks, and peaceful shorefront.
🤝 Connecting Trail (0.5 miles) - This short trail made from decomposed granite creates an easy and accessible way to connect camping loops and day-use areas by foot or bicycle. Due to the unique surface of this trail, horses will not be permitted once we open.
🦅 Raptor Ridge Trail (0.5 miles) - This trail made of packed down decomposed granite material might be short, but it'll allow an easy and accessible way for folks enjoy some of the most scenic views by foot or by bicycle. Due to the unique surface of this trail, horses will not be permitted once we open.
⛰ Cross Timbers Trail (2.0 miles) - Starting next to the equestrian area and ascending up to our Main Trailhead, this trail overlooks impressive rolling hills and canyons carved by Palo Pinto Creek. Once we open, this trail will permit hiking, cycling, and horseback riding.
🚂 Texas & Pacific Trail (5.7 miles) - This is our longest trail stretching from our Main Trailhead to our furthest western border through prairies, along canyon cliffs, and tall pecan trees. Once we open, this trail will permit hiking, cycling, and horseback riding.
🦃 Palo Pinto Creek Loop (1.3 miles) - This trail branches off Texas & Pacific to meander back and forth over Palo Pinto Creek. Wonderful location to spot some wildlife! Once we open, this trail will permit hiking, cycling, and horseback riding.
Edit: We still don't have an opening date at this time. But progress is continuing to give us hope. When we do have an opening date, we'll be sure to announce it on Facebook and Instagram.
