We love a good celebration as much as anyone, but in the Town of Duck, ALL fireworks are a big, loud NOPE. Yes, even those "harmless" sparklers and those floating Chinese lanterns you saw on Pinterest. ✋

Why the ban? Because what starts as a twinkle can turn into a disaster quicker than you can say "Hold my beer."

Not to mention, fireworks freak out pets/ people, disturb wildlife, and let’s face it… nobody wants their beach vacation ruined by a visit from emergency services. 🚒🐾🦅

Don't do it. They're illegal. Period.

Set up a Go Fund me for our friends in Asheville - we are planning to take a trip there to bring supplies directly to them. Their brewery has become a donation center for the community, as they are starting to get power back.
