The major exhibition celebrating the life and legacy of Dunfermline-born artist Sir Joseph Noel Paton is currently on display at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries 📍 Paton, a towering figure in the Victorian art world, was an illustrator, poet, and Painter to Queen Victoria, as well as a contemporary of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
This exhibition showcases key works from renowned museums like Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, National Galleries of Scotland, and the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA). Plus, it offers a rare chance to view personal items from the Paton family, many of which are on public display for the first time.
This exhibit runs until the 9th of February 2025. Visit now & explore the work of one of Scotland’s most influential artists.
