Sir Antony Mark David Gormley OBE RA is a British sculptor, widely acclaimed for his sculptures, installations and public artworks that investigate the relationship of the human body to space. One of his famous installations is “Another Place” on Crosby Beach near Liverpool.

Another Place consists of 100 cast-iron, life-size figures spread out along three kilometres of the foreshore, standing almost one kilometre out to sea and all facing out towards the horizon. 🗿
