Honestly, this shouldn’t come as a big surprise… After being a Walt Disney World Cast Member, living in the Orlando area for years, and visiting more times than I can count, I’ve always considered myself an Orlando pro — but now it’s official! I’m now a Certified Orlando Expert through the Orlando Travel Academy!

🌈 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐒𝐭. 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬: 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐰𝐨, 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 🌈

After a morning of classroom training and touring beautiful rooms, I treated myself to some relaxation at the Red Lane Spa. ✨ Did you know the hydrotherapy experience is complimentary for all guests—even if you don’t have a spa treatment booked? I enjoyed the sauna, steam room, and both the hot & cold plunge pools.

After some downtime, I took a leisurely stroll back to my room to get ready for dinner. The sunset was breathtaking… but the real surprise was a gorgeous rainbow stretched across the lush mountainside. 🌅🌈

We enjoyed a pre-dinner cocktail, and while I can’t wait to tell you all about my dining experience—it definitely deserves its own post!

✨ Travel Tip Tuesday ✨

Traveling with kids isn’t always easy—but a little planning (and a lot of patience) can go a long way! Here are some of my favorite tips to help make your family adventures smoother and more memorable.

Tips #5 and #10 really hit home for me.

I’m the type who wants to capture every 👏 single 👏 moment—photos, videos, all of it. But I’ve learned that sometimes the best memories come from being in the moment, not just recording it. I still love taking pictures, but I’ve been more intentional about putting my phone down and soaking it all in.

Patience is another big one. When you’re excited to explore, it can be tough to slow down for little legs, nap breaks, or unexpected meltdowns. But I remind myself—they’re only little once, and these slower-paced moments often become the most special memories.

💍𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗦𝘁. 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀: 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝘄𝗼, 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝘄𝗼💍

Our tour of the stunning Sandals St. Vincent & the Grenadines continued with a sweet discovery — the heart-shaped pool. 💙 It’s tricky to capture the shape perfectly in photos, but trust me, it’s there!

We took a little break for a delicious stop at the Jerk Shack — a fan favorite at many Sandals and Beaches Resorts. Everything on the menu came highly recommended, so naturally… we ordered everything to share! 🥰 While it was all amazing, the Jamaican chicken patty totally stole my heart.

Next, we explored more incredible room categories — including Butler Elite Villas complete with a separate bedroom, media room, kitchen, and even a private entry just for the butler. You’ll catch a little behind-the-scenes peek of how we agents rotate in for photos and videos while the rest of the group patiently waits outside. We’ve got a pretty good system going!

We wrapped up with a visit to the watersports desk and a look at the breathtaking over-the-water wedding and vow renewal chapel.

🏝️ 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐒𝐭. 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬: 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐰𝐨, 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐎𝐧𝐞 🏝️

My morning started with the most beautiful surprise — a rainbow stretched across Buccament Bay, right outside my balcony! 🌈 I soaked in the view while enjoying a delicious room service breakfast. It was the perfect way to kick off the day.

Today was all about training and touring! I met up with my colleagues and we headed to the resort’s stunning ballroom and meeting space. We dove into everything Sandals — from the 17 luxurious adults-only resorts across 8 Caribbean islands, to the two family-friendly Beaches Resorts. And let me just say, there are some exciting new properties on the way!

After training, we started our tour of the resort grounds. Our first stop was the Pickleball & Tennis courts, then went into the beautiful, relaxing Red Lane Spa, where there is a wide variety of treatment options as well as a complimentary hydrotherapy circuit for all guests.

🦪𝕀𝕥’𝕤 ℕ𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝 𝕆𝕪𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝔻𝕒𝕪!🦪

On August 5th each year, we honor a magnificent mollusk, the oyster, for National Oyster Day!

Some of the best oysters I’ve ever had were at The Boathouse, one of my favorite restaurants at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World. Did you know that if you book your WDW vacation with me, I wake up to book your dining reservations at 6:00am 60 days prior to check in? I wake up so you don’t have to, and my services are FREE!

My evening kicked off with a stunning sunset—seriously, I could sit on my balcony for hours soaking in that view of Buccament Bay!

Next up was the welcome event and cocktail party at the game pavilion, where I had a wonderful time reconnecting with my fellow travel pros and our amazing Sandals reps.

Dinner was at Gatsu Gatsu, the resort’s sushi and Japanese fusion restaurant. Sushi is my absolute favorite, so this meal was a dream! Between the sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The perfect end to my first day in paradise!
