Wes and I celebrated 5 years of marriage this past month. When we got married, we decided we wanted to go on an anniversary trip each year as long if we were able.

Each year our trip has been a time to reflect, and has been a true blessing to our marriage and our friendship 🫶🏼

We’ve been blessed to see 5 different countries on these trips, been in awe of the world the Lord has created, and many times looked out at the sea or mountains and thought “what is man that you are mindful of him, and son of man that you care for him?”

I wouldn’t want to spend my life with anyone else - through the fun days (like these) as well as the painful days that hold difficult trials. Wes is such a blessing to me!

Hey friends! Back from in Punta Cana - excited to be working through my inbox but have had a few slowdowns with re-arranging trips due to the incoming hurricane in Jamaica & Cancun area. So excited to be back though and share all that I have learned!

Two things though:
1) always get travel insurance - it’s super rare to need it, but when you need it because of a monster of a storm like this one, it’s really important.
2) it really does pay off to work with a travel agent! I’ve been monitoring this storm for my clients, moving flights as needed, re-routing as needed. Some clients will enjoy a storm-free honeymoon because we were able to get them in a new resort with the storm warnings! (plus we get our peeps extra perks)

The beautiful coast of Italy - I recommend to find off the beaten path places if you are visiting in the summer months (June, July, August). It is hot and can be crowded - so the shoulder season is a wonderful time to go. Italy is actually one of the more affordable countries to visit in Europe and there is so much to see!

When you cross the border into Switzerland, prices go up about 3X what they cost just across the border of Italy!

Don’t forget to check your passports if you are traveling with me this summer! No one wants to be stressed about getting their passport back!

Heading overseas this summer? Think of what you can buy with the $60 of expedited passport processing fees you saved by planning ahead! Passport processing times are currently 6-8 weeks for routine service and 2-3 weeks for expedited service. travel.state.gov/passport

Finally landed back in Georgia after a long 48 hours of travel!
