A 25 minute drive from town will bring you straight to your summer retreat. Located off Dog Lake Rd. on Surprise Lake you will find yourself in a private setting, cooling off in the water in no time. This beautiful and rustic family camp has three bedrooms, an open concept living area with two living spaces, a dining table seating 6 guests and a large open concept kitchen. ted outhouse steps outside the front door. The main cabin has three bedrooms, a sitting area, living room, large family dinner table and open concept kitchen. The master bedroom includes a walk out deck overlooking the lake & woods, so as to provide a view but maintain your privacy. Each bedroom is equipped with a stand up oscillating fan and brand new hotel quality linens, so you can sink right in at the end of the day. The newly renovated and well lit outhouse is just steps away from the entrance (no indoor toilet). The kitchen is well stocked with oil, salt, pepper, sugar, tea and Thunder Bay's finest, Rose n Crantz coffee. You'll also be set with frying pans, pots, baking sheets, mixing bowls, cheese grater, colander, cooking utensils, cutlery, wine glasses, plates, bowls, ice trays and more. Plastic wrap and aluminum foil not included. We also have children's plates, bowls, forks, spoons and cups, so you won't need to bring your own! There is a TV in the living room with Netflix, Crave, Prime, etc.. You will have to use your own username and password to login. Some children's books and board games to keep everyone entertained on those rainy days. This authentic Thunder Bay camp boasts a huge deck, a dock for your boat and a private beach for swimming. An outdoor dining space and extra seating area are included and one is nestled under a large mosquito net. You are welcome to bring your own canoe, paddle board, kayak or boat, as we do not provide them. A spacious wood sauna cabin has been built off the deck and comes with a cozy indoor seating area. A bundle of wood is provided for you. The shower is situated inside the sauna. We provide you with a shower towel, a beach towel, face cloth, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. You'll find the firepit beyond the sauna, overlooking the lake. There are logs, chairs and benches for seating. Please note that firewood is not provided for the firepit. We have suggestions for nearby places in the manual and below. You'll have your own private beach and pool noodles are provided in the sauna cabin for your enjoyment.
