Kanchipuram Ekambareswarar Temple: A Shiva Lingam made of SAND? β³π±
Deep inside the massive Ekambareswarar Temple in Kanchipuram lies a secret of the ancient world.
This is the Prithvi Lingam β representing the Earth Element among the five Pancha Bhoota Sthalams.
According to legend, Goddess Parvati built this Lingam out of sand under a mango tree. When a flood threatened to destroy it, she embraced it tightly, leaving her mark on the divine form forever.
