HANDS OFF MOLLY
With all the fuss about tourists touching our Molly Malone statue, I have been encouraging my visitors to keep their hands to themselves this year so that no more damage is done to the monument including my lovely couple from Texas who were quiet bemused to hear about the controversy enjoying my tour while they visited Dublin..☘️😎

BOYNE VALLEY MEANS BUSINESS
I was delighted to be invited by Boyne Valley Tourism and Failte Ireland to a Strategy Workshop at the wonderful Tankardstown House where all of us local tour operators had an opportunity to learn more about marketing our businesses to visitors. Thanks to keynote speaker Conor O'Neill of the award winning Glyde Inn in Co. Louth for a very inspirational and informative talk on how he made his business such a hugh success and to the venue for their excellent hospitality, as well as Caoimhe Delaney from Meath LEO and Helen O'Leary from The Innovate Room for their valuable advice. It was great to meet so many interesting people on the day....

AND WE'RE OFF
I was delighted to welcome my first tour of the New Year from these lovely UK visitors who thoroughly enjoyed a traipse around Dublins fair city even in the chilly spring breeze. FAR FLUNG FUN
It's always a pleasure to have visitors from the other side of the world and these lovely Americans living in Hong Kong were only delighted to travel so far to learn about Dublin's fair city and it's murky past like the famous story of the daring Darkey Kelly and her misfortunate life.....outside her very own pub of course....

TRINITY CALL
It's always a pleasure to bring my visitors to our wonderful Trinity College to tell them all about it's interesting history and encourage them to come back again for the official tour on the inside and to see the one and the only Book of Kells. It really is one of our must see attractions and my English guests Kathy and her husband did just that after my walking tour with them....

THANKS A MILL!
It was great to get a personal tour of Skerries Mills today from the wonderful tour guide Paddy who really does know how to show someone around with his knowledge and presentation second to none, a true masterclass in tour guiding. Of course a big thanks also to Manager Mary Jo for the very warm welcome and hospitality...highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

DUTCH COURAGE
Thanks to Martin and his gang of Dutch work mates from Holland who were brave enough to take on my five hour walking tour of Dublin today in warm sunshine and busy streets, and they made it to the end and got to the Temple Bar pub in one piece, thanks for the business and enjoy the your stay, it was a pleasure to show you around Dublins fair city...☘️

THE INN PLACE
Thanks again to all the wonderful staff and management from the fabulous Ashling Hotel which has to be one of the best places to stay in Dublin. If you are coming into the city for a visit and looking for somewhere so central, I really cannot recommend it highly enough. Thanks again guys, your support it much appreciated...

BLOOMING GREAT HOTEL
Blooms Day this year was a wonderful celebration of James Joyce and his iconic Ulysses book, so thanks to all the Dublin businesses who facilitated the festival activities including the wonderful Ashling Hotel and their friendly and professional staff like Pavla photographed here with a certain Georgian lady, roll on next year...

FRENCH TRY
It was great to have a french group on my music tour last week who sang their hearts out even though we did not mention the touchy subject of rugby, but for their singing they definitely scored a french try...thanks to Eric and Lisa pictured at Dublin Castle and Jean-Yves and Jenny for being good sports...a bientot ☘️🇨🇵

ITS THE DANE THING
I was delighted to host one of my regular tour groups last week coming all the way from the Odder Music School in Copenhagen led by their wonderful teacher Susanne and who all sang their hearts out as I lead them around Dublin's fair city, its always a pleasure to have you guys visit, see you again soon
