The 9 Lakes Region offers cyclists an incredible variety of trails, each showcasing the natural beauty and diverse terrain of East Tennessee. Two of them along Melton Hill Lake provide challenges for the avid cyclist as well as those just getting into the sport. Rider Morgan Lunceford recently set out to try these trails to show you the best ways to enjoy them.

While the morning started off soggy, the 5th Annual NATS Poker Run finished under blue skies and miles of smiles. Special thanks to Clinch River Brewing, the volunteers, and the all the riders who joined us for the event.

Heading to a rowing regatta in the next few months (The Dogwood Junior Championship Regatta is happening now through Sunday) in Oak Ridge? It's not only a great experience it's also happening in a city filled with history, which is the focus of the Manhattan Project National Historic Park.

You'll find some MPNPS markers at the rowing site and others throughout Oak Ridge. So, sit back and enjoy some rowing and learn some history too!

Whether it's standing in three states at one time, enjoying a breathtaking view or tracing the history of American pioneers, Cumberland Gap National Historic Park offers visitors plenty of things to see and do. As we mark we celebrate this jewel of the 9 Lakes Region.

The park covers parts of Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia with the small town of Cumberland Gap, TN at the heart of it all.
