😒 When Everything Isn’t So Magical…

On our recent trip to Disney World, we had so much fun and made lasting memories. BUT let’s be real — not everything was magical the whole time. Here are a few hiccups we hit and how we handled them:

🤒 Sickness Struck
In the middle of the day, one of the kids wasn’t feeling well — I forgot our meds (always pack them!). Thankfully, Disney’s First Aid Tent had exactly what we needed. We decided to take a break from the park, but weren’t sure how long the bus would take… enter the Minnie Van! We used the Lyft app to call one, and a friendly Disney Cast Member picked us up and got us back to the resort quickly and comfortably.

⚡️Lightning Lane Glitch
Ugh — one of our Lightning Lanes glitched and didn’t show up. We just headed to Guest Services, and they fixed it fast. They were super helpful and kind!

📱Lost Phone on the Skyliner
Yep… I left my phone on the Skyliner. If you know me, you aren’t surprised! But the Cast Members were on it. They found it and had someone brought it directly to me. 👍Fun fact: You can leave Cast Member compliments right in the My Disney Experience app — and we definitely did!

🌎 EPCOT to Hollywood Studios 🎥

We kicked off the day at EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival, and wow—the flowers were absolutely stunning! I could’ve stayed there all day! After that, we hopped on the Gran Fiesta Tour for a chill boat ride, then walked through Moana’s Journey of Water—such a fun spot especially for little ones! We saved the best for last- we flew backward through space on Guardians of the Galaxy, and it did not disappoint! 🌌

Over at Hollywood Studios, a few brave ones took on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster 🤘🎸Then we caught two of our favorite shows—Frozen Sing- Along and Indian Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! We wrapped up the night in Toy Story Land, which is the perfect way to end a Disney day.

We started the day at Early Entry:

✅ Soared through the skies with Peter Pan’s Flight
✅ Sang along on It’s a Small World 🌍🎶
✅ Battled Zurg on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin 🚀🔫
✅ Made the BIG screen at Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor 🤣
✅ Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade

We headed to the best spot to relax at Mickey’s PhilharMagic and then raced over to Tomorrowland Speedway! 🏎️

Now, grabbing lunch at Starlight Cafe 🍔🍟 because up next is:

🎢 Tron Lightcycle Run
🛸Space Mountain
🎪Dumbo
🏴‍☠️ Pirates of the Caribbean
💚 Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

❄️☀️ We couldn’t pass up the chance to enjoy a FREE water park day at Blizzard Beach! Disney resort guests can start their vacation with a little extra magic with a free water park ticket on check-in day in 2025! We had a blast floating along Cross Country Creek, the twist and turns of Teamboat Springs, and playing in Tike’s Peak featuring Anna, Elsa and Olaf! The girls loved The Ski Patrol Training Camp with all of the obstacles! We didn’t get a lot of pictures because we were soaking up all the sun ☀️ and snow ❄️!

We’re kicking off our trip at All-Star Music in a Family Suite—plenty of space and fun vibes! 🎶 Then, we’re switching it up with a split stay at Art of Animation’s Lion King Suite 🦁✨ Can’t wait to soak in all the Disney magic from two amazing resorts!
