Tis the season! is overjoyed to open its first event of the year, the beloved Enchanted Garden of Lights, which has become a holiday tradition for so many across the region. Beginning Nov. 20 guests can continue making memories worth repeating during its 26th season, open nightly at 5 p.m. through Jan. 2.

Fall is here and now is the perfect time to visit . This bronze statue of golfer Payne Stewart is the most photographed item in the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen area of North Carolina, also recognized as the “Home of American Golf.” The statue captures the elation of Stewart as he sank a 15-foot putt on the 72nd hole of the 1999 U.S. Open to win the championship. His fist pump is known as “One Moment in Time.” Thousands of people from around the world gather around the famous statue daily to have their picture taken and mimic that victorious moment.
