Did you know Disney gift cards can be used to pay off the balance of your Disney vacation? Whether you are taking a Disney Cruise Line trip or headed to the parks on either coast, you can use those Disney gift cards you have stashed away as payment. (And doesn’t that plastic money make the trip ALMOST feel kind of free or is that just me?) What is your best gift card buying hack?

Pro Tip: hold on to all the gift cards in the off chance you have to cancel since all payments go back to the original form of payment.

A Disney vacation has a lot of moving parts—and that’s exactly why my job exists. Disney Genie (do people still use this?), Lightning Lane, Early Entry, mobile ordering, park reservations (are they gone yet?), character meals, transportation schedules… and that’s just before noon.

Planning a Walt Disney World trip isn’t simple, but it can feel easy. How? Because I know how the pieces fit together. I know what’s changed, what matters most, and how to turn all that noise into a plan that works FOR you, not against you.

So today, on Travel Advisor Day, here’s a reminder of just a few things that I do:
*Keep track of every detail so you don’t have to
*Answer your messages, even mid-park meltdown
*Know more about ride strategy than any facebook group, Google or ChatGPT ever will
*Make your trip feel effortless

This EPCOT pavilion might be the most underrated of them all. Yes, EPCOT’s Norway pavilion has a “Frozen” ride the kids will love, but before you non-”Frozen” fans decide to just “let it go” —hear me out— there’s so much more to discover here, and you’d be crazy to pass it by!

*Culture: Vikings, giant trolls and Norse mythology, this pavilion has it all! With buildings inspired by Norwegian cities like Bergen (pictured), and cultural representatives ready to chat, the feeling of immersion is undeniable. The Fjording shop carries a ton of Norway-specific merch, including the popular Laila perfume. Do not leave without a photo with the giant troll!

*Food: Dine with royalty at Akershus or pop into Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe for School Bread, Lefse, or a classic Kringla. A real hidden gem for sweet treats!

*Ride: Frozen Ever After is a must for little ones— Lightning Lane it if you can. But did you know this was once home to Maelstrom? In fact, there’s an old relic from the original attraction hidden in the waterfall.

Hola and Happy Cinco de Mayo!

May is that funny middle of the road kind of month. School isn’t quite out, the weather is mostly nice so it feels like you should be doing something but we aren’t in that summer vacation stretch yet. It’s like being at the airport and your flight is delayed - the waiting is tough. Let’s do some vacay dreaming while we wait for our actual trip departures. If you could be vacationing anywhere, doing anything right now, where would you be headed? (and what is your ACTUAL trip countdown?)

Fellow galaxy far, far away geeks (I say this with love as a fellow geek) how will you celebrate today? Will you make a special treat? (Wookie Cookies?) Will you watch your favorite Star Wars movie? (Which one?) Or will you play it low key and just drink out of your favorite Galaxy’s Edge mug?
