We provide Alarm and CCCTV installation, repair and maintenance to all domestic and small commercial properties. All properties should be protected with an intruder alarm to deter potential intruders. If you would like an intruder alarm or CCTV installed; your existing alarm upgraded or would like to join our annual service scheme. Acklam Intruder Alarms Terms and Conditions. Prior to the commencement of any work, the client must advise Acklam Intruder Alarms LTD of all site-specific Health & Safety requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, Site Inductions, Permits to Work, and Risk Assessments. CCTV cameras require adequate lighting levels to allow them to fully function and give accurate images. Unless specified, it is accepted that it shall be the customers responsibility to ensure that lighting levels on site are adequate for the operation of CCTV cameras. Acklam Intruder Alarms LTD will advise customer’s on what additional lighting will be required. It is also the customer’s responsibility to maintain lights on site to ensure images are always at optimum levels. Where systems are to be viewed remotely via telephone line, ISDN, or Broadband Internet, the customer shall be wholly responsible for all costs of installation of lines and cables as well as for any line rental and call costs. Out of Hours Work. No allowance has been made within the quotation for out of hours working. It is assumed that all tasks associated with installation and maintenance work can be carried out during normal working hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm. Emergency Call-Out Response Time. Our standard call out response time is within 12 hours. Wherever possible and practical, we will endeavour to attend site prior to this deadline and where true emergencies exist we will endeavour to provide a swift response. Annual Charge. The costs of the annual service will be charged prior to the maintenance inspection. Defects Attended to During a Service Inspection. Any defects found during a service inspection will be remedied where possible and materials used will be recorded. If a defect cannot be remedied immediately, an estimated time for the repair/replacement will be advised based on stock and engineers availability. External Detection. Where specified, external detection should be kept free of foliage and measures adopted by the client to prevent obscuration, thereby eliminating false activations. Warranty. All new equipment carries a 12-month warranty . No warranty applies to light bulbs and infrared lamps. Data Protection.
