I had an excellent day last week, walking up at 3000m above the ski resort. There are two lifts taking walkers and cyclists with bikes up 1000 vertical metres to access a whole network of summer trails. It even includes a self timing vertical kilometre with published results for the masochists.

Went to this tiny bar at Carrera del Darro just off Plaza Ana in Central Granada on Sunday. They do 3 1 hour+ shows each night [x7] at 8 euros with drinks and tapas at bar prices. The atmosphere and performances are amazing and brilliant value for money. No wonder it is difficult to get a front row seat.

The race came up to the roundabout just 1km from Casa Morisca. Gatto won the stage in Padul and Ben Swift of Sky from Yorkshire was second, taking the points jersey that he held to the finish.
